Alessandro Acqui, born in Rome, graduated with honours from the Conservatory Santa Cecilia in Rome in 2017. In 2021, he completed his Master Performance at Hochschule Luzern in the class of Isabel Charisius with the highest marks. Masterclasses with important international masters such as F. Fiore, S. Briatore, M. Burton, K. Kaschkaschian completed his musical education.

During his studies, Alessandro Acqui performed with chamber orchestras (Youth Orchestra of Rome, Archi Accademia Nova), also performing as a soloist. He performed in other chamber music ensembles with prestigious Maestros (S. Accardo, L. Zilberstein, D. Krakauer, S. Tchakerian, S. Chiesa, A. Zamarra) for important concert associations (Omaggio a Cremona, Accademia Chigiana, Amiata Piano Festival) and in prestigious theatres (Ponchielli di Cremona, Teatro Olimpico di Vicenza etc.).

Currently, he is a member of the orchestra Cherubini conducted by R. Muti. In 2021, he obtained eligibility for solo viola by the Orchestra Regionale Toscana and won an internship place at the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra. In 2019, he received a scholarship from the Swiss federal government (ESKAS).
