Ann Lepage began her musical studies in the north of France before joining the CNSM in Paris, in the class of Philippe Berrod, where she finished her Masters Diploma with distinction from the jury in June 2022.
In March 2022, Ann was awarded the second prize at the prestigious Carl Nielsen Competition in Denmark after winning the special prize for the Contemporary Creation at the 2019 edition. Ann is also a laureate of the Crusell Competition in Finland as well as finalist of the International Jacques Lancelot Competition in Japan.
Ann has performed as a soloist with the Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, the Brussels Philharmonic Orchestra, the Copenhagen Philharmonic and the Ostrobothnian Chamber Orchestra. She has also collaborated as a guest with the Orchestre de Paris, Opera de Paris, Opera de Lyon, Orchestre du Capitole de Toulouse and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France.
Passionate about chamber music, Ann has been invited to numerous festivals such as the Salon de Provence International Music Festival, the Invalides Musical Season where she performed Mozart’s Clarinet Quintet, the Musica da Casa Menotti festival in Spoleto to perform the Quatuor pour la fin du temps by Messiaen, among others.
In July 2023, Ann will be performing at the ClarinetFest 2023 in Denver, United States, for the 50th anniversary of the International Clarinet Association.
