Dutch-Swiss violinist Gerard Spronk started his studies in The Hague and finished his Bachelor of Music in 2013 at the Conservatory of Amsterdam. He graduated from his Master studies at the University Mozarteum Salzburg in 2016 and subsequently received another Master degree in 2018 studying in Zurich.
Performing in the major concert halls of the Netherlands and in many cities in Europe, Asia and America, Gerard Spronk can be heard in recitals and as a soloist with orchestra, with many performances broadcasted on radio and television. As a passionate chamber musician he is the violinist of the Delta Piano Trio and has performed with artists such as Thomas Zehetmair, Wolfgang Redik, Thomas Riebl and Clemens Hagen. He has won numerous prizes at international competitions such as IPMC, Iordens Viooldagen, the Davina van Wely Violin Competition and the Princess Christina Competition.
Moreover, teaching is a major part of Gerard Spronks interests: he regularly gives chamber music masterclasses at the conservatory of Tilburg in the Netherlands.
