Hélène Schweitzer

Hélène Schweitzer | FRA | *1985

Hélène Schweitzer discovered theatre very early on through improvisation. She co-created and performed in Fera-t-il beau demain? before flying solo with the creation of A l’imparfait du conditionnel in partnership with 104 Theâtre. Hélène Schweitzer wrote and staged Répétition for the Voilà Festival in London, a play which would go on to perform at the Théâtre de Belleville in Paris.

Having authored and directed many short films, she is currently bringing the final touches on her quadrilogy Split, following on the international success of the first two parts at many festivals.

Currently acting as artistic director of her own company, Hélène Schweitzer teaches at Acting International, alongside her artistic projects and films in London and Paris.

Having directed and collaborated with Hélène Walter on Corps et Âme at HEMU in Lausanne, Hélène Schweitzer is thrilled to team up with her again on the new staging of La voix humaine for the DAVOS FESTIVAL 2022.
