Kamilia Boris was born in Vilnius. She is a graduate of the National M. K. Ciurlionis School of the Arts in Vilnius and obtained her Bachelor’s degree from the Zurich University of the Arts in Sergey Malov’s class in 2020.

Kamilia is an active orchestra musician. Since January 2022, she is a part of the first violin section of the Bamberger Symphoniker. In 2019/2021 she was an intern with the Basel Symphony Orchestra. In 2019–2021 she was a member of the Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, playing as a section leader during the 2020 and 2021 summer tours, performing in chamber music concerts and a side by side project with members of the Staatskapelle Dresden. She has played under batons of numerous world-class conductors, including Herbert Blomstedt, Manfred Honeck, Andris Nelsons and Jakub Hruša in Europe’s most famous concert halls.

As a soloist Kamilia has performed with St. Christopher’s Chamber Orchestra, National M. K. Ciurlionis School of the Arts Symphony Orchestra and a student orchestra of the Zurich University of the Arts. She regularly participates in masterclasses with renowned violinists, including Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Julia Fischer and Boris Brovtsyn. She is a prize winner of numerous national and international competitions and has been awarded the honorary diploma for cultural achievements from the president of Lithuania, Dalia Grybauskaitė, in 2016. Currently she is pursuing her Master’s degree with Sergey Malov at the Zurich University of the Arts.
