Born in Bydgoszcz, Katarzyna Helena Pernach started her education at the age of seven in the class of Ewa Ruppocinska-Kotula in the Karol Kurpinski’s Music School in Warsaw. Currently, she studies at Universität für Musik und darstellende Kunst Wien in the violin class of Edward Zienkowski. Masterclasses under the supervision of violinists such as Frank Peter Zimmermann, Bill van der Sloot, Krzysztof Smietana, Agata Szymczewska, and Noah Bendix-Balgley accompany her education.
Katarzyna Helena Pernach has developed her orchestra skills under the baton of conductors such as Earl Lee and Peter Marschik. She has performed in many festivals in Poland and abroad and has given concerts in the most beautiful concert halls, including the Golden Hall of the Royal Castle in Warsaw, the Concert Hall of the National Philharmonic, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, Forbidden City Concert Hall in Beijing, Wilanow Palace, and Polish National Opera. In 2021, she will take part in an orchestra tour with Samnium Symphony Orchestra in Italy and Austria.
From an early age, Katarzyna Helena Pernach has participated in competitions and is a laureate of national and international music competitions such as Tadeusz Wronski Solo Violin Competition, International Berlin Rising Stars competition, International Violin Competition in Elblag, and National Violin Competitions in Kielce, Warsaw, Torun, and Breslau, amongst others. She is also a laureate of national and international chamber music competitions in Warsaw, Bydgoszcz, and Sochaczew. In 2020, she won a second prize and scholarship in the International Orchestra Awards Competition.
Katarzyna Helena Pernach was admitted to the National Children’s Fund, she was also a stipendiary of Moringside Music Bridge international Program in Beijing and was invited to International Music Academy Stringtime NiederRhein.
