Violin virtuoso and multiple competition prize winner Ye Jin Min is a Doctor of Musical Arts candidate at Yale School of Music, Yale University, under Syoko Aki, where she holds a Luther Noss scholarship and fellowship. She completed her undergraduate studies in Australia at the Sydney Conservatorium under Goetz Richter and a Master’s Degree at Yale where she received the Yale Alumni award.

Ye Jin Min has performed extensively as soloist. She is a first prize winner of the Kendall National Violin Competition and the Animato International Violin Competition in Australia. She performed as a soloist with orchestras such as Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Animato Chamber Orchestra, and Kozy Symphony Orchestra. In addition to her performances as a soloist, chamber musician and recitalist she has participated in a number of international music festivals including a recent fellowship position at the Bowdoin International Music Festival and Sarasota Music Festival.

Currently, Ye Jin Min is residing in Heidelberg, Germany with generous support of DAAD and Baden-Württemberg Foundation. She is receiving a mentorship from Ulf Hoelscher, working on Concert Project Re:present, an outreach concert project that promotes works by underrepresented composers. The project recently won a Student Exploration Award at Tsai Center for Innovative Thinking at Yale.

Later this year, Ye Jin Min will perform as part of Lincoln Center Stage for RWS entertainment group.
