Žydrė Ovsiukaitė was born in a family of musicians. At an early age, she started studying violin and finished National M.K. Ciurlionis school of Arts in 2011. She graduated from the Lithuania Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) gaining a Bachelor diploma in Performing of Arts (2015) and a Master diploma in Performing of Arts – Solo Violin (2017). Moreover, she had lessons with P. Munteanu, S. Malov, J. Meissl, A. Kouyoumdjian, A. Barachovsky, B. Garlicki, Prof. A. Mitterer, M. Iurato, M. Kamiya, K. Harada. Participated in masterclasses in Germany, Italy, Sweden, Austria.
Žydrė Ovsiukaitė won prizes in the Lithuanian Chamber Music Competition, International VIIth S. Vainiūnas Chamber Music Competition, Aoniyoshi Music Competition in Nara, Cecilia IMC in Tokyo, Osaka IMC and Japan Classical Music Competition.
Since 2012, Žydrė Ovsiukaitė has played with piano in the Duo Presto. In 2014, she performed at Harmos Music Festival (Portugal). As a soloist, she has performed with Klaipėda Chamber Orchestra, Kaunas Youth Chamber Orchestra and LMTA Symphony Orchestra. In 2013, she became a member of Vilnius State St. Christopher’s Chamber Orchestra (artistic director D. Katkus) and was its concertmaster. Since 2016, she is a guest player in the Orchestra Ensamble Kanazawa. At the moment, Žydrė Ovsiukaitė is a freelance solo and chamber music artist in Japan.
In 2015, Žydrė Ovsiukaitė received an official greeting by the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė for a successful international debut, and in 2020, an official greeting by the Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda for successful international achievements.
