Jonatan Bougt

Known for his «graceful playing» and a «stage presence that leads the listener to the music», multi award winning Swedish guitarist and theorbist Jonatan Bougt is a graduate of the Royal College of Music, London, where he studied with Jakob Lindberg, Carlos Bonell and Chris Stell supported by the Musician’s Company Lambert Scholarship. Some notable 1st Prizes include the NORDEM EAR-ly competition (2021), RCM Historical Performance Competition (2019), RCM Guitar Competition (2017), Swedish Guitar & Lute Society’s Jörgen Rörby Competition (2014) and the Uppsala International Guitar Festival’s Young Talents Competition (2013).
