Alicja Szydłowska

Alicja Szydłowska is a graduate of the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where she completed her studies with distinction in 2023 under the guidance of Professor Marcin Zdunik. As part of the Erasmus+ program, she studied at the Kunstuniversität Graz, and in 2024, she completed an internship as a professor’s assistant at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome. Since 2025, she has been working as a tutti cellist with the National Polish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Katowice, under the direction of Marin Alsop.

She has participated in numerous prestigious masterclasses with world-renowned pedagogues such as Giovanni Sollima, Frans Helmerson, Arto Noras, and Tilmann Wick.

Alicja has collaborated with many esteemed ensembles, including the Baltic Sea Philharmonic, Neue Philharmonie München, and the Polish Orchestra Sinfonia Iuventus.

She is a laureate of several cello and chamber music competitions and a recipient of the “Young Poland” scholarship program, which enabled her to acquire a master-quality instrument.
