Nieves Aliaño Ramos

She is currently a member of the Orchestra of the Gran Teatre del Liceu (Barcelona) and Quintet SenArts.

She completed her Bachelor at Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya with Professor Vicens Prats. After finishing in 2017, she moved to the Hochschule für Musik Basel to pursue a Master Performance with Professor Félix Renggli; and in 2020 she began the Akademie at the Philharmonia Zürich (Zurich Opera).

Throughout her career, she has been a member of several youth orchestras such as the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival Orchestra, the NJO (Netherlands Youth Orchestra), and the JONDE (Spanish National Youth Orchestra). She has also collaborated with orchestras including the Orchester Musikkollegium Winterthur, Neues Orchester Basel, Orquesta Filarmónica de Gran Canaria, Philharmonia Zürich, and ADDA Simfònica, among others.

With Quintet SenArts, they have been awarded 2nd Prize in Carl Nielsen International Competition in 2023, 3rd Prize in ARD Int. Music Competition in 2024 and First Prize in BBVA Montserrat Alavedra 2024.
