Frances Inzenhofer

Frances Inzenhofer is a German-American double bassist based in Luxembourg. An expressive and versatile musician, she performs throughout Europe as both an orchestral and chamber musician.

Since 2025, she has been an academist with the Luxembourg Philharmonic and regularly performs with orchestras including the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonie Zuidnederland, Sønderjyllands Symfoniorkester, and Deutsche Philharmonie Merck. She has also been trialist with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra and recently won a tutti position with the Orchestre National de Metz Grand Est. Alongside her orchestral work, Frances is an active chamber and contemporary music performer. She has appeared at festivals including Stift Festival (Netherlands), Wonderfeel Festival (Netherlands), and Musikfestival Grafenegg (Austria), and has performed with ensembles such as Score Collective at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and Ossia at the Eastman School of Music.

Frances holds a Master of Music in Double Bass from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. She earned dual bachelor's degrees in Double Bass Performance and Digital Media Studies from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Rochester in Rochester, New York.
