Trio Concept

Francesco Massimino (Turin, 1999) graduated with highest honours from the Conservatorio “G. Verdi” of Turin at the age of 17 under Massimo Macrì. He subsequently completed a Master’s degree in Chamber Music with Antonio Valentino and continued his studies with Antonio Meneses at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona. In 2023, he earned a Master’s degree in Performance with highest distinction at the Hochschule für Musik Basel under Thomas Demenga.

As a soloist, he has performed with ensembles including the Orchestra Filarmonica di Torino, the Sinfonieorchester Basel, and the Evergreen Symphony Orchestra, appearing in venues such as the StadtCasino Basel and the National Concert Hall in Taipei.

A founding member of Trio Concept, he has contributed to the ensemble’s international success, including prizes at the Trio di Trieste Competition, the Schoenfeld International Competition, and the Paternot Prize at the Verbier Festival. Trio Concept has been selected as ECHO Rising Stars 2025/26.
